Free AMC8 Advanced/MATHCOUNTS Course

These classes will help you master the concepts required for AMC 8, and other math competitions like MATHCOUNTS and AMC 10!

Please make sure to watch all the AMC 8 Fundamentals Class Videos as those fundamentals will be required for the classes below.

What does the program include?

Free Classes
These classes will expand your problem-solving ability and teach you many new concepts and how to apply them to challenging AMC and MathCounts problems! The class recordings will be available to review after the class.

Each class will also have several raffle prizes, and the winners will be chosen randomly from the attendee list.
​
Competition with prizes!
​
​The competition will consist of many interesting and original problems for everyone to solve! We will go over the solutions to all of the problems so everyone will learn how to solve them. Winners of the competition will get prizes thanks to our sponsors! Anyone can participate in the competition however only students in 8th grade or lower are eligible to win prizes.

With AMC 8 competition in November, and many math competitions only a few months away, we are offering this free program for students to master the AMC 8 and also prepare for contests like MathCounts and AMC 10!

This free program took place over the course of 5 weeks every Saturday from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm Pacific time (7:00-8:30pm EST) starting October 10th, 2020.

  • Special AMC 8 Review and Strategies Session (Friday, November 6, 2020)
    • Friday, November 6, 4:00-5:30 pm PST (7:00-8:30 pm EST)
    • Review of all the concepts and formulas that are essential for the AMC 8 contest. We also discussed many useful strategies and tips to excel in the test.

  • Problem Review Session
    • Sunday, November 8, from 1-2pm PST (4-5pm EST)
    • Prof Po-Shen Loh, professor at Carnegie Mellon University, founder of Expii, and the coach for the USA IMO team will do a problem review session for the contest.
    • Prof Loh will review some selected problems from the competition. You will need to register for this session at Daily Challenge with Po-Shen Loh.
